Biography
Marian MacBryde
Marian heads MacBryde Consulting and divides her time between New York, the home of the world’s largest capital markets, and Europe. Marian was previously a joint founder of capital markets advisory business Makinson Cowell and a director of the company for 30 years. She has advised listed companies in the UK, France and Germany on all aspects of their relationships with international investors, has worked with large, mid and small-cap companies and has experience in most industry sectors.
Prior to Makinson Cowell, Marian spent eight years at Hoare Govett as a sell-side analyst where she focused initially on financial analysis and modelling and latterly specialized in research on small and mid-cap companies. Marian is a Chartered Accountant and carried out her accountancy training at EY. In her six years with the firm she worked in audit and the technical team.
